The purpose of this decision is to approve, in accordance with the provisions of Law 02-01 of February 5, 2002, concerning electricity and gas distribution by pipelines, the planning procedure for the gas transmission network.

Article 2 of Executive Decree No. 06-431, which sets the technical rules for the design, operation, and maintenance of the gas transmission network, stipulates that the service quality must be verified through parameters determined, validated by the regulatory commission, and updated annually.

Decision D/18-18/CD of June 27, 2018, approves the gas transmission network safeguarding plan in accordance with the applicable regulations. This plan will be revised every two years to address network developments, and any modifications will be subject to prior approval by the CREG.
