The rates are set by the Electricity and Gas Regulatory Commission (CREG) through Decision No. D/22-15/CD dated December 29, 2015, which establishes the electricity and gas tariffs. These tariffs are provided exclusive of taxes and have been in effect since January 1, 2016.

Uniformity across the national territory

The tariffs include all costs (Production, Transport, Distribution, and commercialization for electricity) and (Transport, Distribution, and commercialization for natural gas). These costs are calculated to ensure that consumers have access to electricity and gas at their consumption locations
