The Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mr. Mourad ADJJAL, presided over the official ceremony for Mrs. Baya CHEKIRED HAMMAT, the Newly Appointed President of the Electricity and Gas Regulatory Commission (CREG), in succession to Mrs. Wassila BETATA ATIMENE, on Monday, 22 December 2025. The ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, in the presence of several presidents of commissions and representatives of the energy sector.

As part of the collaborative work with consumer protection associations and in implementation of the 2023–2025 action plan established for this purpose, the Electricity and Gas Regulation Commission (CREG) organized
