What are my rights with respect to my distributor?

If you are the owner or tenant of a property, you have the right to:

Benefit from an electricity or gas connection in areas where a network exists.

Be properly welcomed, advised, and assisted.

Have four bills issued per year.

Be informed about the conditions and deadlines for connection, tariffs, and payment methods.

Be informed about internal and external avenues of recourse available with the distributor.

Be notified in advance of scheduled interruptions, including their dates and times.

Receive answers to all your complaints.

Be compensated in case of damage to your equipment due to power cuts or voltage drops.

Receive compensation for the installation of facilities or the passage of distributor networks on your property.

What are my obligations towards my distributor?

You must:

Pay your energy bill by the due date indicated on the bill.

Ensure that your internal installations comply with safety standards and best practices.

Provide your distributor with easy and permanent access to your meter and installations.

Refuse fraudulent connections from your installations.

Contact your distributor before starting any project near its facilities.

Avoid interfering with your meters.
